Abstract/Citation: Amends the Childcare and Family Care Leave Law of 1991 so as to cover a wider range of workers with family responsibilities, in particular workers with a fixed-term contract. Further extends the leave period, under certain conditions, to cover the period until the child attains the age of one and a half years. Also eases the restriction on the number of leaves taken under the Law and establishes a new leave scheme that allows workers to care for sick children.
