Abstract/Citation: Made under Merchant Shipping Act 1995. Requires employers to ensure seafarers have at least the specified minimum hours of rest. Also requires records to be kept of seafarers' daily hours of rest. Prohibits employment on a ship of a person under 16 years of age, and establishes seafarers' entitlement to annual leave.
