Abstract/Citation: Amends Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act to make improvements and to reauthorise programmes under that Act. Divided into 4 parts. Part 1 provides for general programme, and community-based grants for prevention of child abuse. Part 2 deals with adoption opportunities. Part 3 makes provision for abandoned infants assistance. Part 4 makes amendments to Family Violence Prevention and Services Act.
