Abstract/Citation: Made under Employment Insurance Act. Amends Section 40 of Employment Insurance Regulations (SOR/96-332). Applies to persons affected by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) who either become unemployed due to quarantine as a result of SARS, or who are already claiming Employment Insurance benefits and are then quarantined as a result of SARS.
