Abstract/Citation: Made under Family Law Act 1975. Provides for implementation of Child Protection Convention. Divided into 8 parts. Part 1 contains introductory provisions. Part 2 provides for application of regulations. Part 3 makes provision for Commonwealth and State central authorities; Part 4 for Commonwealth protection measures. Part 5 deals with foreign measures received by Commonwealth central authority; Part 6 with international cooperation. Part 7 regulates implementation of Convention in State matters. Finally, Part 8 contains miscellaneous provisions.
