Abstract/Citation: Made under Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act, 1999. Transfers to Periodic Detention of Prisoners Regulation 1995 certain provisions of the repealed Home Detention Regulations 1997 (in relation to home detention), the repealed Community Service Orders Regulation 1995 (in relation to community service work), and the repealed Sentencing (General) Regulation 1996 (in relation to parole). Also amends Correctional Centres (Administration) Regulation 1995, Correctional Centres (General) Regulation 1995 and the Periodic Detention of Prisoners Regulation 1995. Part 4 regulates community service work. Provides for hours of work, meal breaks and tea breaks, computation of hours, supervision, and some related matters.
