| Abstract/Citation: |
Provides for identification, prevention, reduction, control, and notification of potential harmful effects of dangerous substances. Chapter I contains definition and determines scope of application. Chapter II regulates classification of dangerous substances, and identification of risk. Chapter III makes provision for notification requirements and registration of new substances. Chapter IV deals with packaging, labelling, storage, transport and advertisement of dangerous substances. Chapter V provides for assessment and reduction of risks, Chapter VI for risk control, and Chapter VII for communication of risks, and information exchange. Chapter VIII sets forth criteria for use of dangerous substances and regulatory control of chemical safety. Finally, Chapter IX contains final provisions. |
