Abstract/Citation: | Comprehensive legislation on labour relations. Divided into 13 parts. Part I contains preliminary provisions. Part II deals with employment of job seekers, and work permit for non-nationals. Part III provides for contract of employment, and rights and obligations of parties to contract. Part IV regulates termination of employment. Part V contains provisions regarding special labour contracts. Part VI deals with wages, hours of work, leave, public holidays, working conditions of the disabled, working conditions of women and young employees, and employment injuries. Part VII contains provisions regarding social security. Part VIII regulates formation of associations and collective bargaining. Part IX provides for strike, lockout and unfair labour practices. Part X regulates settlement of labour disputes. Part XI contains provisions regarding labour administration, Part XII on period of limitation and priority of claims, and finally, Part XIII on penalties. |
