Abstract/Citation
Made under Accident Compensation Act 1985, and Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act 1993. Specifies various matters regulated in these acts. Part II contains provisions concerning investigation of fraud, and prescribed particulars as evidence. Part III specifies various items related to compensation, namely: definition of "full-time worker", prescribed number of hours, travelling allowance, accomodation allowance, amounts not considered remuneration, payments to workers resident overseas, employers claim report, reimbursement, settlements and contract of insurance. Part IV regulates eligibility to apply for approval as self-insurer, application for approval as self-insurer, approval of self-insurers, insurance in respect of contingent liabilities, and contributions by self-insurers.
