Abstract/Citation
Made under Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948. Pursues the objective to ensure greater regularity of employment for different categories of dock workers. Regulates activities of Dock Worker Board and other administrative bodies. Also makes provision for age of retirement, promotion and transfers, medical examination, training, hours of work, minimum wage, and several related matters.
