Abstract/Citation
Contains nine sections covering, inter alia, scope of application (prevention of ethnic discrimination, promotion of good ethnic relations, ensuring the position of ethnic minorities and foreigners, and enforcement of the principle of ethnic non-discrimination), duties, competence (guidance and counselling, issuing of recommendations, dealing with cases, conveyance of cases to competent authorities), legal assistance, office, right to obtain information notwithstanding secrecy provisions, and miscellaneous. Repeals Act (No. 446 of 1991) respecting the Aliens' Ombudsman.
