Abstract/Citation: Made under Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act. Comprehensive legislation on storage and handling of petroleum products and allied products. Part 2 contains provisions regarding prohibition of storage, delivery and tank vehicles, and provides for product transfers, containment dikes and other protections, and administrative assistance. Part 3 deals with internal-combustion engine fuel quality. Parts 4 and 5 regulate issuance of permit for construction and operation. Part 6 provides for inventory and record-keeping. Part 7 deals with spillages and leakages. Part 8 provides for transfer of permits and property. Part 9 deals with out-of-service storage tank systems. Part 10 makes provision for issuance of license to petroleum technicians; Part 11 for required tests and inspections. Finally Part 12 provides for upgrading and removal of storage tank systems.
