Repeals ss. 18-20 and 48-52 and contains numerous amendments including additional provisions covering, inter alia, ss. 2 (cooperation between employer and employee to pursue equal opportunities objectives), 10-14 (action to be undertaken by employers to attain equal opportunities, i.e., analysis of wage and employment practices, establishment of yearly action plans, and provision of information for relevant workers' organisations under collective agreements), 15 (direct discrimination), 16 (indirect discrimination), 17 (situations in which sex discrimination are forbidden under ss. 15 and 16), 23-24 (agreements void to the extent they provide for prohibited discrimination under ss. 15 and 16), 25 (compensation in case of breach by employer against ss. 15 and 16), 33 (obligations for employer to abide by Ombudsman's request as listed), 35 (fines for employer not complying with ss. 4-13), 36, 39-41, 44-45 and 57 (rules of procedure).
