| Abstract/Citation: | Comprehensive legislation on trade unions. S. 5 makes provision for independence of trade unions, s. 7 for statutes and registration of trade unions, and s. 9 for reorganisation and liquidation of trade unions. Chapter II sets forth the basic rights of trade unions, including the right to promote employment, the right to engage in collective bargaining and to implement collective agreements, the right to participate in collective labour dispute settlement, the right to examination of information, the right to oversee labour legislation, the right to take part in labour and environment protection, the right to take part in privatisation of state property, and the right to participate in the management boards of enterprises. Chapter III provides for the guarantee of the rights of trade unions, and Chapter IV for the protection of the rights of trade unions and responsibilities of trade unions. |
