Comprehensive legislation on corrective services. Chapter 2 deals with rights and duties of prisoners, Chapter 3 with breaches and offences, Chapter 4 with corrective services facilities, Chapter 5 with post-prison community based release, and Chapter 6 with administration. Sections 56 and 57 regulate participation in WORC and WCC programmes. Section 56 provides that a prisoner participating in a WORC or a WCC programme must perform community service as directed by a corrective officer. Section 57 makes provision for eligibility for WORC and WCC programmes.
