| Abstract/Citation: | Defines, inter alia, obligations for companies relating to seafarers' certificates and documents, maintenance of registers, on the job training for seafarers, capitain's duties relating to security rules, efficient co-ordination in the event of emergencies, and familiarisation with survival techniques. Also provides dispositions concerning working and resting hours for seafarers, watch-keeping systems, the composition of Cypriot ships as regards organic posts, and the inspection and control of foreign ships. The seventh and concluding part provides dispositions concerning the inspection of outbound ships and their detention in case of problems of compliance. |
