Abstract/Citation: Comprehensive legislation on rights and duties of police officers. Amends Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000, Drugs Misuse Act 1986, Justices Act 1886, Juvenile Justice Act 1992, Police Service Administration Act 1990, and Prostitution Act 1999. Makes provisions for controlled operations and controlled activities, DNA procedures, blood and urine testing of persons suspected of committing sexual or other serious assault offences, dealing with things in the possession of police service, and several related matters.
