Second Region

Regulates the appointment of and establishes salaries for public servants. Provides for related matters. Chapter One establishes general provisions and definitions. Chapter Two establishes the grades for civil servants and sets the salaries for each grade. Also sets high cost of living allowances for officials. Chapter Three governs conditions of appointment and employment. Chapter Three establishes procedures relating to the promotion of officials. Chapter Five provides for general service abroad. Chapter Six governs the control of staff numbers, organizing and training. Chapter Seven establishes procedures concerning the resignation and transfer of personnel. Chapter Eight provides for leave and holidays. Chapter Nine regulates allowances and overtime rates. Establishes that overtime work fees are not to exceed twenty-five per cent of the monthly salary. Chapter Ten makes general provisions.
