Abstract/Citation: Makes regulations in order to improve the provision of service to the public, facilitate recruiting, encourage training and development, and to promote harmonious labour relations. As such, establishes the Public Service Employee Relations Committee for these purposes. Sets procedures on recruitment and appointment to the public service. Establishes the Public Service Appeal Board to promote harmonious labour relations and makes transitional provisions. Makes consequential amendments to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Pension (Public Service) Act, the Public Service Bonding Act, and the Public Service Labour Relations Act.
