| Abstract/Citation: | Amends s. 2 and 3 of the Act 55(I) of 1997. Ten percent of the vacant posts in the public sector, except in public education, shall be filled with priority given to candidates who claim to be persons or children of persons unable to travel from the Turkish zone of Cyprus and who have all the necessary qualifications corresponding to the job description. The result of any written or oral examination for these posts shall not be taken into consideration, except in cases where such persons already occupy more than 10 percent of the posts. |
