| Abstract/Citation: | Chapter III provides for fundamental rights, freedoms and duties. Inter alia, prohibits discrimination based on race, ethnic origin, language, colour, gender, religion, disability, age, political views, or social or economic status; also prohibits forced labour and torture. Provides the right to due process of law and freedom of association (art. 19). Art. 27 allows the President to proclaim a state of emergency. |
