| Abstract/Citation: | Governs the procedures and conditions for granting asylum. Persons seeking asylum who reside in a third state in which they face no imminent danger shall not be considered for asylum. The body responsible for asylum affairs shall be the Federal Asylum Office (Bundesasylamt), and appeals regarding decisions of the Asylum Office shall be heard by an independent Federal Asylum Senate (Bundesasylsenat). Provides for consultation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and for social development measures for refugees, including vocational training (s. 41). |
