Abstract/Citation: Creates a Committee which shall assist the Department of Foreign Affairs in the review of cases of Filipino overseas workers who are sentenced to life imprisonment, death, or unusual punishment. The Committee shall monitor relevant cases of overseas workers and recommend cases appropriate for Presidential intercession. Previously, such intercession was only recommended in the case of an overseas worker being sentenced to death.
