Abstract/Citation: |
Provides work permits for illegal immigrants from Burma, Laos and Cambodia so they may work in specified provinces for a maximum of two years. To obtain such a work permit, immigrants must report themselves to the competent officials. Permission to stay in Thailand may be forfeited and immigrants may be deported if employment is terminated and they cannot find new work, if they are convicted of a serious offence, or if they leave the provincial area designated to them without obtaining permission. |
