Amends sections 4(2) (ordinary working time for persons in schooling is seven hours per day on days off school and two hours during school days. Hours of schooling and work together may not exceed 8 hours daily and the weekly hours of work may not exceed 12 hours), 7(2) (organization of working time - 15 year old apprentices may work in shift work only up to midnight; for persons below 15 years of age working time should be between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Exceptionnally the working time may be place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.), 8(3) and 8(4) (rest periods for persons below 15 years when working time exceed 4.5 hours is a minimum of 30 min. Exceptions to the Hours of Work Act by way of collective agreements may also be applied to young workers), 14 (queries concerning implementation of the law) and 15(1) (exceptions can be granted from section 2(3), on certain conditions, for persons working as actors or assisting in artistic or cultural performances, and for persons of more than 14 years of age from section 2(2) and chapter 2).
