Article I: Supremacy of the Constitution. Article II: Bill of Rights. Provides for the freedom of thought, speech, assembly and petition; prohibits slavery, unreasonable search and seizure, and cruel and unusual punishment, including the death penalty. Article X: Traditional Rights. Article XI: Citizenship. Article XII: Amendment of the Constitution. Article XIII: Transitional. Existing law shall continue to be in force unless repealed.
