| Abstract/Citation: | Regulates hours of work, overtime, paid leave, sick leave, and rest periods for persons employed in International Trade Zones. Maximum working hours is set at 60 hours a week, or 12 hours a day. Hours worked above this limit shall be paid overtime wage. Prohibits night work or overtime work for women who are more than 6 months pregnant; after 3 months of pregnancy, women shall have the right to be transferred to other work assignments should a physician declare that their present duties pose a hazard to their health. |
