Abstract/Citation: Training activities in the field of occupational safety and health are carried out by the employers. They should provide participants with: information on occupational hazards (occupational accidents and diseases) connected with performed work; information on occupational safety and health within the range necessary for performing work at a definite post as well as obligations and responsibilities in the field of occupational safety and health connected with this post; ability to perform work in a safe way, from the standpoint of the worker's and other people's safety, as well as procedure in a situation of accident (damage) and ability to render assistance to victims of employment accidents. Training in the field of occupational safety and health is conducted as preliminary training and as periodic training and skills development.
