| Abstract/Citation: | Provisions relating to: cooperative societies and their by-laws; procedure for establishment and registration; rights and obligations of members; bodies of the societies; financial management; inspection; amalgamation; liquidation; and bankruptcy. It also makes special provisions concerning agricultural production, work and housing cooperatives. Repeals the Act of 29-10-1920 concerning cooperative societies, the Act of 21-05-1948 to establish a Central Cooperative Union; and the State Cooperative Federation Act of 21-05-1948 |
