Abstract/Citation: Inter alia, revokes the provisions of sections 12 and 13 of the 1979 Regulations dealing with demotion or release for incompetence or incapacity and abandonment of position, and incorporates them into the Treasury Board regulations governing the terms and conditions of locally-engaged staff; rewords section 8 of the 1979 Regulations dealing with emergency appointments and rewords section 10 on probationary periods.
