Abstract/Citation: In light of the Government's efforts to reduce the deficit, the President of the Treasury Board announced the main features of the "Early Retirement Incentive", designed to help lessen the financial impact of early retirement for surplus employees aged 50 to 59. The Retirement Compensation Arrangements Regulations, No. 2 establishes a 3-year program and provide the criteria for an unreduced public service pension during that period.
