Abstract/Citation: Available in English. Work permits shall be granted to aliens on the condition that no unemployed Croatian is qualified to fill the position in question. Work permits shall generally be granted for a maximum period of 1 year, unless the alien has been granted permanent residence status, in which case the work permit is valid for an indefinite period. Employers shall inform the Bureau of Employment on aliens in their employment.
