Abstract/Citation: Exit from the territory can be forbidden when a lawsuit has been brought against the person who intends to leave. Provides for cases in which entry in Belarus can be refused. Foreigners have the same social and economic rights as nationals, if they are permanent residents. If neither forbidden nor reserved to nationals, any activity can be undertaken by foreigners if it corresponds to the purpose of their stay. Unless otherwise prescribed, migrant workers can join any union under the conditions generally set. Available in English.
