Abstract/Citation
Provides for the incorporation of cooperatives. Prohibits any associations from financing political parties. Other provisions cover by-laws, shares, membership, liabilities of shareholders and members. Organizes the management and administration of cooperatives, appoints directors. Provisions are made for the making of contracts, credits, the disposition of surplus, withdrawal of members. Provisions are made for the appointment of an auditor, who must submit his report to the members each year. Sets forth the dissolution and winding up of cooperatives. Entitles cooperatives to associate themselves as a federation. Offences against this Act are criminally sanctionned.
