Abstract/Citation: Adds to section 4 a definition of "forced retirement", replaces section 32 relating to compulsory retirement age, and adds sections 106A concerning retirement age and section 268 containing transitional provisions about compulsory age retirement. Replaces section 267 with a new section concerning the powers of the Governor-General to make regulations under the Act. Repeals the Public Office (Age Qualification) Act 1985.
