Second Region

Establishes the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council which shall monitor the full implementation and sectoral compliance with the provisions of the Industrial Peace Accord (IPA); assist in the preparation and conduct of national tripartite conferences to review labour, economic and social policies; formulate, for submission to the President or to Congress, tripartite views, recommendations and proposals on labour, economic and social concerns as well as tripartite positions on relevant bills pending with Congress; and advise the Secretary of Labor and Employment in the formulation or implementation of major policies and major decision-making processes affecting labour and employment.
