Abstract/Citation: Promotes disabled persons' independence and participation in activities in any field such as community affairs, the economy and culture. The Government shall formulate the Disabled Persons' Basic Plan and the protectorates and municipalities shall endeavour to formulate plans of their own. Replaces the words "physically and mentally disabled person" with the words "disabled person" and renames the Law to be the Disabled Persons' Basic Law.
