Provides for minimum age for admission to employment (15 years and not liable to compulsory school attendance) and conditions to perform light work. Contains provisions dealing with contract of employment, working hours (regular working hours, overtime, maximum working hours, periods of rest), occupational safety and health (training and guidance, medical examination) and special permits. Repeals the Young Workers' Protection Act (No. 669 of 1967). Unofficial translation (Ministry of Labour, Oct. 2002) available online in English.
