Abstract/Citation: Establishes a National Commission of Human Rights with two objectives. Firstly, the development of a condition conducive to the exercise of human rights pursuant to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Secondly, the improvement of the protection of human rights in order to support the realisation of the objective of national development. The National Commission shall be comprised of the Plenary Commission, Sub-Commissions and the Secretariate General. The twenty-five (25) members of the Plenary Commission shall be leading national figures.
