Abstract/Citation: Provides for the incorporation of cooperatives, amendment of articles, regulations and by-laws. Sets forth membership, withdrawal and exclusion of members. Other provisions cover shares, distribution of surplus, the board of directors, contracts. Entitles any association to authorize the borrowing of money from its members for definite periods of time and at specific rates of interest. Specifies that the patronnage rebate of each member in respect of each fiscal year shall be applied to the purchase for the member of shares in the capital stock of the association. Provisions are made for the establishment of audits and financial records, amalgamation, winding up and dissolution of cooperatives. Offences against this Act are sanctionned.
