Abstract/Citation
This Act, which was prompted by the accession by Nepal of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, is comprised of 59 sections and divided into the following chapters: Chapter I: Preliminary. Chapter II: Rights and Interests of Children. Chapter III: Provisions relating to the Protection of the Child and Relating to the Guardian. Chapter IV: Welfare Provisions. Chapter V: Working Hours and Leisure. Chapter VI: Miscellaneous.
