Abstract/Citation
Amends the regulations implementing the State Supported Employment Services Program authorized under title VI, part C of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The State Supported Employment Services Program assists individuals with severe handicaps, for whom competitive employment would have been unlikely, to acquire the skills and experience needed to achieve and maintain employment in the community. These final regulations further amend the regulations implementing the State Vocational Rehabilitation Services Program, the Program of Special Projects and Demonstrations for Providing Transitional Rehabilitation Services to Handicapped Youth, and the Program of Special Projects and Demonstrations for Providing Supported Employment Services to Individuals with Severe Handicaps and Technical Assistance Projects in order to make conforming changes to the regulatory requirements for these programs.
