Abstract/Citation
Under this Rule, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is promulgating new standards regulating exposure to Methylenedianiline (MDA). In addition to establishing permissible exposure limits for MDA, it includes requirements such as medical surveillance, exposure monitoring, hygiene facilities, engineering control and work practices, proper respirator use, and recordkeeping. The standards apply to all industries covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Act including general industry, contruction, and maritime.
