The Act on education of 23 May 1991 enters into force on the date of its publication: 20 August 1991. Part 3 of Article 11 and Article 39 - on 1 August 1991. Articles 18 and 19 - on 1 September 1991. Article 12, Part 5 of Article 48 (wages), Part 1 of Article 57 (financing of scientific research) - on 1 January 1992. Part 3 of Article 27 - on 1 July 1992. Articles 24, 36 and 37 (documents on education and qualifications) - on 1 September 1992. Last paragraph of Part 1 of Article 52 - on 1 January 1993. Texts repealed: Decree on the entry into force of the Act on public education (Vedomosti of the Ukrainian SSR, 1974, No. 28, text 234). Order of 27 September 1974 on the entry into force of the Act on public education (Vedomosti of the Ukrainian SSR, 1974, No. 41, text 412). Decree of 15 May 1980 to amend and supplement the Act on public education (Vedomosti of the Ukrainian SSR, 1980, No. 22, text 405).
