| Abstract/Citation: | This Act seeks to improve the quality of training in the building and construction industry. Part 2 creates a Building and Construction Industry Training Board and describes its membership, functions, powers and administrative structure. Part 3 establishes a Building and Construction Industry Training Levy to be imposed on all construction projects except those exempted. Part 4 mandates that the Board shall create training plans and it sets out in general terms what those plans should contain. |
