Abstract/Citation
Amends Social Security Administration Regulations to reflect section 5104 of Public Law 101-508, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990, enacted on November 5, 1990. Section 5104 amended section 216(e) of the Social Security Act to provide that a child who is legally adopted by an insured person's surviving spouse after the insured's death may be entitled to child's insurance benefits if the child was either living with the insured individual or receiving at least one-half of his or her support at the time of the death of the insured individual.
