Abstract/Citation: |
This Act provides for amendments of sections of the Superannuation Act 1976 concerning the functions of the Board (s.13), the seeking of recommendations by the Board (s.18), the election of lump sum benefits (s.24), survivors' benefits (s.29), postponement of benefits of retirement pensioners (Part VIB), review of decisions by the Board (Part XA), transfers to authorised superannuation schemes (Part XIIIA),and other minor amendments. The Act also includes amendments to the Superannuation Act 1990 in respect of transfers to approved and authorised superannuation schemes, and other minor amendments, as well as minor amendments to the Superannuation Benefits (Supervisory Mechanisms) Act 1990 and the Superannuation (Productivity Benefit) Act 1988. |
