Abstract/Citation
Provides that employers with 15 or more employees are prohibited from discriminating against a qualified disabled person in matters relating to hire or discharge or any other condition of employment. The Act also prohibits discrimination against disabled persons in the provision of public services by governmental entities or the provision of public accomodations by private entities. Special provisions are made to assist hearing-impaired individuals in the field of telecommunications.
