Abstract/Citation: Makes detailed provisions for the establishment, operation, extinction and organisation of joint-stock companies, the obligations and rights of shareholders, changes in capital stock and related matters. Under the new Act, the establishment of joint stock companies is not subject to clearance or supervision by the State, and a provision for establishment by a single founder having legal personality and underwriting the entire stock enables the State to transform existing enterprises into joint stock companies. Act No. 243/1949 on Joint Stock Companies is repealed.
