| Abstract/Citation: | These Regulations are made under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (“the Act”). They repeal certain provisions of the Factories Act 1961 and the Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act 1963. The Regulations also revoke seven statutory instruments. The legislation being removed is either redundant or has been replaced by more recent provision. These repeals and revocations were the subject of consultation in accordance with section 50(3) of the Act. Regulation 2 repeals or revokes the legislation set out in Tables 1 and 2 in the Schedule. |
